Bloomfield, Indiana, cemetery

Diphtheria caused the death at 5 p.m. Monday of Jerry Moulden, aged sixty-two, at his home 527 North Walnut Street, Bloomington. He had been ill only a few days and his condition was complicated from pneumonia.

He was an employee of the Showers Bros. Company and had lived in Bloomington for the past eight years, going there from Bloomfield. He was a member of the Christian church.

Surviving relatives are the widow, Mrs. Lula J. Moulden, of Indianapolis, Guy Moulden, of Bloomington, and Claude Moulden, of Indianapolis; one step-son, Frank Knox, of Bloomington; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert Ingalls, of Worthington; five grandchildren and a brother, John at New Smyrna, Florida.

Short funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Bloomfield cemetery, where interment was made. The services were in charge of Rev. R. O. Pearson, of the Fairview M. E. Church. Pallbearers were Mort Hannum, Homer Jones, Lem Stogsdell, Charles Watts, Carl Godsey and Burch Leonard.The out-of-town people attending the funeral yesterday were Mrs. Stephen Sipes, of Harrison, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Claude Moulden, of Indianapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Moulden, of Bloomington; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Knox, of Bloomington, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles McNabb, of Indianapolis.
