New Smyrna Man Drowns in Creek
Lowell E. Moulden, of New Smyrna Beach, was drowned early Sunday morning when his car left the road at the Spruce Creek bridge after striking a car driven by a Negro, overturning by the roadside. The Moulden car went through the left side of the bridge and into the creek, pinning the driver inside. Moulden was alone at the time.

Moulden's Death Chamber
Funeral services for Lowell Edward Moulden, who died Sunday morning, as the result of a fractured skull, will be held at 11:00 o'clock Friday morning in the First Baptist Church.
Lowell, who was driving south, sidswiped a car driven by Thomas Eubanks, Negro, leaving the road at the bridge near Turnbull Castle and plunging into the creek, where it lay completely submerged until pulled up by C.&M. wrecker. Eubanks, accompanied by his wife and Susie Johnson continued to Harbor Oaks, where they reported the accident. When the body was removed from the car it was found that Moulden's watch had stopped at 6:10 fixing the accident at near that time.
Lowell Edward Moulden was born July 29, 1910, in Bloomfield, Ind., and came here with his family in 1913. Moulden's body will lie in state at the Robinson Tarver Funeral Home Tuesday and Wednesday, the casket will not be opened during the service. Rev. J. Alvin Inman will officiate and the church choir present (?) selections. Interment will be in Edgewater cemetery.
Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Moulden, three brothers, Everett Moulden, Chicago, Albert Moulden, Jacksonville, and John of New Smyrna Beach. Pallbearers will be M.C. Avery, Lawrence Hedges, Eugent White, Sidney Moskovits, Donald Currie and Russell Galbreath.
