Joseph Cephus Harrell of Brooker died Wednesday at North Florida Regional Hospital. He was 78.
Mr. Harrell was born in Brooker and lived there his entire life. He was a retired conductor for Seaboard Coast Line Railroad and a member of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Lewis Harrell of Brooker; a daughter, Hilda Fussell of Jacksonville; two sons, James Cephus Harrell of Panama City and Henry Hampton Harrell of Starke; two stepsons, Kenneth Thomas of Raleigh, N.C., and Dwight Thomas of Brooker; a sister, Lucille Baxter of Jacksonville; and 12 grandchildren.
HARRELL MR. JOSEPH CEPHUS - Funeral services for Mr. Harrell, age 78, Retired Conductor with Seaboard Railroad, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 6, 1983, at New Hope Primative Baptist church with Rev. Andrew Moon and Elder Gaston Barton conducting he services burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, LaCrosse, Fla., under the direction of JOHNSON-HAYES FUNERAL HOME, 311 S. Main St. Mr. Harrell, who lived in Brooker, Fla., died Wednesday, May 4, 1983 in North Florida Regional Hospital.
