I will be taking a break while working on a new design. I will continue to post a few photos monthly.

I take these photos while walking nature trails in the area of Lakeland, Florida. I use a Nikon D70 digital camera with a Sigma 50 to 500mm lens. I also use a Tamron 28 to 300mm lens. My early photos were taken with a Panasonic digital camera with a 12x, stabilized lens. Click "Old Photo Site" for my original site or click on a month under "Galleries," then choose a gallery at the bottom for the new pages. These images have been severely downsized for faster download. This has affected the image quality.

Fell and busted the Nikon last week (March 3, 06). Now using a Panasonic FZ30.

I usually write a short narrative of each of my walks. It just details the activity and what was available for viewing or photographs. I write in a conversational manner, so I warn my daughter, who is an editor, to not be critical of it. Look, I used some commas! (Family joke.) I just throw a few commas in to make my daughter happy. She thinks that commas are useful. Click the year under the "Journal" heading, then choose a month at the bottom.

I have changed the format for 2006. The Journal will be one file, just scroll through it and the images are displayed in a different manner.
